Overview

Artificial Intelligence and digital technologies are transforming the way knowledge is created, shared, and delivered. In this evolving landscape, universities are called upon to rethink educational models, accessibility, and the central role of people in learning processes.

It is within this context that LOOKING FORWARD: Academic Human-Centered Education takes place. Organized by the University of Milano-Bicocca and the Bicocca Foundation, the event will be held on 22 June 2026 at the Bicocca Pavilion and will officially present BICOCCA DEH – Digital Education Hub.

The project was created to promote free, open-access online learning opportunities, leveraging innovative teaching methodologies, advanced digital tools, and the idea of knowledge as a public good. The event will provide a forum for discussion on the role of Artificial Intelligence in higher education through institutional keynote speeches, a panel discussion, and hands-on workshops focused on the practical use of AI in academic settings.

With BICOCCA DEH, the University of Milano-Bicocca strengthens its commitment to making higher education more accessible, personalized, and human-centered, further establishing itself as a hub of innovation and an active participant in the international dialogue on the future of education and digital transformation.
